One of the areas I discuss in the book talks about the “fatherless-child.” This is when the individual is emotionally stuck at a particular age because of a traumatic event. One of the journeys I try to get my clients to understand that part of growing up and healing is to include the realization that parents are not perfect; they are human. We will be unable to develop depth without pain.
